Introducing a World-First for the Boys & Girls Club:
We are proud to finally announce our very own feature film based on true stories of kids from the club! It’s called “From the Clouds to the Underground” and weaves 3 connected storylines together. It’s a bit of a rom-com, a bit action thriller, and a bit animated fantasy—a little something for everyone.
This highly-anticipated event has been a decade in the making, all poured into 6 months of production for a fundraiser that will benefit our local kids who need us most.
It's NOT be the biggest film ever made,
but it might just be your new favorite ;)

The CONCEPT
This movie has its name because it's about how we NEVER know what someone is going through in their own lives since we basically can’t help but all see ourselves as the main characters in our own little life-movie.
And it comes from an ORIGINAL song performed in the movie by local LEGEND James Papapietro, called "From the Clouds to the Underground" written by The Electric Shoes (Nathan Button & James Papapietro).
The story explores 7 lives through a kaleidoscope of perspectives from character to character because I want to show you something with STAYING power--a movie with so much momentum that it stays with you like a great memory. Something that transports you from the clouds to the underground and right back to the edge of your seat.
This is going to be an audiovisual odyssey from live-action to animation. Like a cinematic mixtape, exploring the struggles we all face.
It’s about how we don’t always see things as they are, but as WE are…
