School-Based Clubhouse Director (Full Time)

The Clubhouse Director is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the before and after school program, ensuring a structured and enriching environment for children. Key responsibilities include developing and managing the annual budget in collaboration with the Unit Director of School-Based Programs, designing and implementing a curriculum that addresses academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles, and maintaining compliance with Connecticut’s licensing requirements. The Director must also manage staff, organize schedules, and foster positive relationships with parents, school personnel, and community leaders. Effective communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to the safety and well-being of children are essential for this role.

The Program Assistant is directly responsible for delivering and implementing age-appropriate activities, and services for boys and girls 6 to 12 years of age that show measurable impact in participants’ academic success; good character and citizenship; and promotion of healthy lifestyles. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that, encourages their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Assist in the development and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities according to guidelines established by the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol. Incorporate BBGC’s mission, vision, goals, philosophies, policies, and development of a wide-ranging environment.
